When is the shortlist unlock fee charged?: Only when you choose to unlock a delivered shortlist: the action that reveals candidate names, phone numbers, emails and CVs. Posting a role and receiving a shortlist are both free.
What does a shortlist contain?: A set of matched candidates, each with fit reasons, any gaps against your requirements, and assessment evidence where available. You can review all of this before deciding to unlock.
What can I see before I pay?: Match reasoning, assessment results, experience summary and location. Candidate name, phone number, email and CV file stay hidden until you unlock.
What if I need more candidates for the same role?: Request an additional shortlist. It's priced the same as the first, whether it's for the same vacancy or a different one.
What happens if a payment is processing?: The shortlist stays locked and shows a processing state until the payment is confirmed. Contact details are never revealed on an unconfirmed payment.
How does the retainer work?: After you've unlocked a few shortlists, you can opt into a monthly retainer for unlimited unlocks while it's active. It's optional and never required to use Muster.
Can a candidate use Muster without paying anything?: Yes. Profile, matching, applications and stage tracking are free with full functionality. An optional assessment credential, priced in your account once you're signed in, is the only paid option.
Does the assessment credential affect ranking?: No. Paid status never affects matching, ranking or basic access to opportunities, for candidates or employers.
